1. The service
TaberuMap ("we") is an online directory of Japanese restaurants in Vietnam, operated at taberumap.com. We publish information submitted by restaurant owners; we do not take reservations, sell goods or act on behalf of any restaurant. Any dealings between you and a restaurant are solely between the two of you.
2. Accounts
You need an account to list and manage a restaurant. You must provide a valid email address, keep your password confidential and are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for people aged 18 or over, or legal representatives of a business.
3. Content submitted by owners
When you submit a name, description, photos, menu, team information or any other content, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe third-party rights. You grant TaberuMap a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, resize and translate the content in order to operate the service. You keep ownership of your content.
4. Review, edits and removal
Every restaurant profile is reviewed before it is shown publicly. We may reject, request changes to, hide or remove content that is inaccurate, duplicated, not a Japanese restaurant or in breach of these terms, with or without notice. We may adjust basic details (address, opening hours) for consistent formatting.
5. Automatic translation
Content may be translated into other languages by AI tools and is labelled "Machine translated". Translations may contain errors; owners can edit each translation in their dashboard. We accept no liability for inaccuracies in automatic translations.
6. VIP plan, trials and payment
Listing a restaurant is free. The VIP plan adds features (menu, team, statistics, featured placement) at the prices shown on the Pricing page, in Vietnamese dong, and may change; prices already applied to a paid period do not change. Trial programmes (if any) end automatically on the announced date with no automatic charge. VIP is currently activated after confirmation by email between both parties; the invoice and payment method are stated in that confirmation. Fees paid are non-refundable, except where a fault on our side makes the service unusable for an extended period.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not: post false information or impersonate another restaurant; upload content that infringes copyright, is abusive or unlawful; scrape data automatically or place abnormal load on the system; attempt to bypass access controls; or use the service to send spam.
8. Intellectual property
The TaberuMap name, logo, interface, source code and aggregated data belong to us or our licensors. You may share links to restaurant pages; you may not bulk-copy or republish the database without written consent.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Restaurant information is provided by owners and may change (opening hours, prices, menus). The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee that information is always accurate or complete, or that the service is uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service; our total liability (if any) is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. When an account is deleted, its restaurant profiles are removed from the public site.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date of the latest update appears at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will first be addressed through negotiation and, failing that, in the competent courts of Vietnam. Questions: [email protected].
